About Us
The Silver Center was founded on January 27, 1993, by a group of like-minded seniors. It is self-supporting and receives no federal or city funding. The Center maintains their 50 year old building that serves as a place for members, their friends and the community to congregate, visit, volunteer, play various types of games, line dance, host parties and more! It's a place where vibrant people can participate in activities like Mahjongg, Bridge, Bunko and more!
In addition to the events listed on our website, the Center maintains a lending closet where people can borrow medical equipment. The entire community benefits from the use of our facility for service club meetings and fundraisers. In addition, the Center is a lovely place for weddings, anniversaries, parties and other celebrations!
